Obituary of Cheryl Beth Nicholson

Cheryl loved gardening, the beach, hikes, camping and anywhere that involved sunshine. Her children Julie, Essie and Pat, grandchildren Amber, Abbie, Parker, Eliana, Ally, Kylie, Litia, Charles, Nate & Ava always were her primary focus. She was loving, forgiving and gracious! Her faith is what carried her through many trials including her battle with Cancer. She never complained and always had an encouraging word to say to everyone. She was Mom to everyone being called Ms. Pat by her children's friends. Her home was always open to everyone. If you knew her for any amount of time she would touch your heart in some way. As her daughter's became Mom's she embraced being a grandmother wholeheartedly. She took trips with her Children and grandchildren to the beach, parks, Justin Bieber Concert, Midnight Movie Premiers. Sleep over's with Grandma were the best! She visited her family on numerous trips to Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and southern Virginia. Her Mom Jackie, Dad Jim, Sister Jen, Brother Matt and Sister Ashlee were always close to her heart even though they didn't live close to her. She would often spend time visiting with them by phone and the distance would fade away. When she traveled to Frostproof, FL she quickly made friends with all 1400 residents. They loved her and prayed for her constantly. She was everything a parent, sibling, child or grandchild could ever wish for and beyond. Her grace, love and memory will live on in each of our hearts forever. The lives she touched will be changed for the better.
