Obituary of Patricia Davis

Davis, Patricia Brooks (age 92), Passed away peacefully the afternoon of December 27, 2014 at her home in Sunrise at Countryside in Potomac Falls, VA. She was born July 14, 1922 in New Bern, NC, the daughter of Isaac and Annie Brooks. Married in September 1952, she spent most of her adult life in the Northern Virginia area where she raised two sons, Robert and Thomas, and a daughter, Elizabeth. She spent her entire career working for the Department of the US Army as a civilian employee, retiring in 1987 as the Executive Secretary to the Comptroller of the US Army at the Pentagon. She is survived by her son Thomas and daughter Elizabeth, six grandchildren (Erin, Jason, Justin, Kristin, Michael and Nicole), eight great-grandchildren (Chase, Abbie, Allie, Justice, Caidence, Jase, Maddox and Rosalie), nephew John Rydell and nieces Nancy Richardson and Robin Black. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11am on Friday, January 2nd at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA. Info and condolences at www.adamsgreen.com
