Obituary of Jogindar Pal Bhalla

Jogindar Pal Bhalla, known to his friends and family as 'Jogi', was born on March 09,1927 in the city of Amritsar, India.
Jogindar spent his entire career in the Indian Foreign Service. He joined the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, soon after Indian Independence in 1947. He travelled the globe as a diplomat and was stationed in Turkey, Bangladesh, Sweden, Nigeria and Yugoslavia, among many others.
Jogindar was married in 1949 to his wife, Bimla (nee Trehan). He is survived by, Bimla, his sons Jay and Tony, his daughters-in-law Neeru and Sue, his two grandchildren Retesh and Monica, Retesh's wife Ashley, and one great-grand child Sophia. Jogindar also has an extended family in India.
Jogindar Pal Bhalla was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-great father and a true humanitarian. His family was at his side when he passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2015
