It's been a very long time since I've met and 'connected' so completely with someone the way I did with Charlene. She was as lovely inside as outside and I will miss her smile, fun & friendship greatly. Most especially, I am grateful for the love and welcome she and (husband) Bob gave to my daughter, Sheri, and how she was so very welcome in their hearts and life, not just as Dave's wife, but because of the special person Sheri is in her own right. As a mother, I could not have asked for a more loving, generous, giving and caring Mother-in-Law for Sheri. She was 'Mom' in every sense of the word and deserved her place in Sheri's heart and life. As a friend, I can only wish that Charlene and I had more time together. We did not see each other as often as we would have liked, but 'talked' often via email, passing along fun thots, pictures of birds or babies, encouragement to each other for various mutual ills and sharing our life stories. We had much in common and yet I learned much about her as friends and relatives shared their stories of Charlene. I'm grateful to have known her even for a short time and miss her deeply. Thanks, Dave, for sharing her with us.

I met Mrs. Roberts during my childhood and I am grateful for the lovely memories and holiday celebrations that we shared together. My sincere sympathies on the passing of Charlene. I was totally shocked to hear this news today when I opened my email. I worked with Charlene and kept in touch with her via email after we retired. I know she is so happy to be reunited with her Beloved Jeff. I remember her telling me the story of the Dove on top of the roof at the Funeral Home when he passed away. She was a Beautiful person and I feel very fortunate to have known her. My prayers go out to you Bobby and your Son, Daughter-in-Law and Grandkids during this most difficult time.
