I have so many fond memories of my Grandma. I remeber being at the lake house and catching fish, taking sunset boat rides, and playing pool for hours in the basement. I remeber the triple bunk beds that were in the bedroom so all the grandkids could sleep together! I remeber when we would be getting ready to go out to dinner and she would always give me a beauty mark on my cheek, making me feel beautiful. I was always inspired by her work with Polio which then inspired me to work in a profession helping people with disabilties. Her love for my grandpa has set an amazing example for my parents and for my future marrage. I am so happy I got to see her in November, and will cherish my memories. Whenever I do a crossword puzzle, I'll be thinking of my grandma.

Sincerest condolences to you, Ray, and to all other family members. Jody was a special lady--not only because she did special things, but also because she shared her polio nursing experiences with many, many Rotarians. Rotarians in District 7610 were enriched by her experiences. We will never forget her.

Grandma Jody and to my girls, Great- Grandma Jody, was a source of love and inspiration for her dedication and perseverance to her family, friends, and causes she believed in. She was a devoted mother who proudly raised four wonderful children, including my father, whom is a wonderful and loving man. Her devotion to family can be found in him and has lead to my mother, sisters, and I valuing a strong family support system and dedication to one another. Grandma Jody's commitment to Grandpa Ray is something that I strive to emulate in my own marriage and hope that my husband and I can celebrate our 60 year mark in as much style as they did. I have wonderful memories of celebrating their 50th Anniversary at the Lake House and getting to see family. It was one of the times that we had everyone together and enjoyed visiting with my cousins and extended family! Grandma Jody's love for adventure and traveling are some of my fondest memories of her. I always enjoyed hearing the stories and seeing the art she brought back from her travels. In a way I felt like I traveled with her many times because of her knack for postcard writing. I am thankful that I got to see Grandma a few times before her passing and that my two girls were able to meet her.
Thank you Grandma Jody for being an example of the greatest kind of love in our lives.

Ray & Family, I am so saddened to learn of Jody's passing. I absolutely adored her. Even though I only knew her for a few years, she was profoundly touched by her. Heaven has one beautiful angel now.
