I have been the lucky one to have known Wynetta , through her daughter Nicole, for fifteen years. She has always been one of Stage Door Dance Studio's biggest fan. The love that she has shown all the dancers that have grown up at Stage Door is a memory they will always cherish. Even after the girls graduated she still was in contact with many of them through Facebook. Always had that extra word of encouragement that they all needed to hear.
I have never known anyone with her stage of cancer that never complained. She prayed to God that she would live to see Nicole's baby, Easton born. She cherish Joey's son. She loved her children and was extremely proud of her children.

I told this story to Nicole, but will do it again because it deserves a second telling. I always sent a birthday card to Wynetta because it was close to my birthday and I had fun sending her a card. For some reason in the midst of her not feeling so great, she messaged me on Facebook to thank me for the card and to tell me how much she appreciated that I cared. I was having a bad day that day--I was actually on the pitty pot--and when I read her message, it uplifted me and just made my day. I'll never forget her or that sweet message a few weeks before she flew to heaven!
