Obituary of Robert Donat Scott

Robert D. Scott, age 79, passed away on Sunday March 22, 2015, at his home in Ashburn VA. He is survived by his wife Rose M. Scott; his four children: James Andrew Scott, of Colorado Springs, CO; Cheryl Ann Scott Cullivan, of Lakeland, FL; Katherine Ann Scott Magee, of Alexandria, VA, and Steven Anthony Scott, Sr., of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 ½ great-grandchildren. He served as a member of the US Army for over 24 years and then continued working with the Department of the Army for over 20 years. He was a lifetime member and President, Emeritus, of the United States Army Warrant Officers Association ( USAWOA), to which he dedicated over 40 years of service. He was the founder of the USAWOA Scholarship Foundation. He also served for over 30 years as the Director, Emeritus, of PenFed Credit Union and PenFed Credit Union Foundation. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11am on Friday March 27, 2015, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Rd. Reston VA, 20191. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately following the viewing. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
