First, may God's certain peace and comfort be with you, Erin's family, now and in days to come. Thank you so much for including "Erin's Story" in your obituary posting. My daughter was Erin's friend in and out of treatment. I truly empathize with you and know I could be walking in your shoes. I particularly appreciate your reminder at the end of the story that addiction IS a manageable disease. Like you, I am one who regularly and actively brings the disease out of the shadows in my conversations with others. I have grieved with my daughter as she has lost a number of friends from this life to addiction during the last few years. I will add dear Erin to those beautiful souls who now dance in the light of eternity, and who energize me to raise awareness of the urgent need for effective on-demand help to be available for anyone living with the disease addiction. Thank you for blessing us all by sharing "Erin's Story."
