Obituary of Phyllis Anna Wetherbee

Phyllis Anna Wetherbee, 88, of Reston, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Born on August 21, 1926 in Concord, Massachusetts. Phyllis graduated from the Concord High School class of 1944. She retired from Fairfax County Library in 1991. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Arthur Carlson and the late Ingaborg Malm. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband of 52 years, Richard Wetherbee; sister, Doris Gustafson; and brother, Frederick Carlson. Phyllis is survived by her children, Sara, David and Amy Wetherbee, her sister Gail Dubek, and several nieces and nephews. She will be inurned at a later date next to her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or Friends of the Reston Library.
