Obituary of Charles Griffin Coleman

Charles G. Coleman, Jr. died on July 29, 2008 at his home in Herndon, VA. He was born on July 3, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles G., Sr. and Minnie Coleman. Charles was the beloved husband of 58 years of Elizabeth A. Coleman, loving and devoted father of Elaine Hawkins of Roanoke, VA, Charles G. Coleman, III of South Pasadena, CA and Wanda Blevins and her husband Phillip of Woodbridge, VA, brother of Glenda Spence of TN, proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3 rd from 3-5pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, where funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4 th at 10am. Interment will immediately follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
