Obituary of John Gregory Hanlon

John Gregory Hanlon of Herndon VA, beloved son of Robert and Harriet Hanlon, devoted brother of Mark Hanlon and Marymai Quaglia, brother-in-law of Kristi Hanlon and Michael Quaglia, and loving uncle of Seamus Hanlon, died of lung cancer on June 26, 2015. He was 48 years old and cared for by his family at home for the short duration of his illness. An esteemed foreman and machinist at RBM Machine, he was an actively involved Loudoun Elk. His love of theater and music increased at Gonzaga and South Lakes high schools, was nourished at Radford University and continued in his adult life with theater and music groups. Viewing will be held at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St, Herndon VA from 6-9pm on July 2. Mass of Resurrection will be offered at 11 am on July 3 at St Thomas a' Becket Catholic church, 1421 Wiehle Ave, Reston VA.
