Obituary of John Emerson Minton

John E. Minton, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Vienna, Virginia. He died following a short battle against a very aggressive cancer. He was the son of Joseph P. Minton and the late Nancy Fettig Minton. A computer whiz and a student of any and all subjects, his wit and observations will be sorely missed. He was predeceased by his mother and a sister, Jean Fogle, and is survived by his father. Surviving siblings are sisters Joan of Pennsylvania, Mary Beth of New York, and Diane of California and a brother Michael also of California. His memory will be cherished by family, extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as friends near and far. A Celebration of his life will take place in September 2016 on the mid-Atlantic coast. His sister Jean lived and worked there and a beautiful memorial garden is there in her memory.
