Obituary of MB Wilser

Mary Barbara Wilser (Mary Barb or MB to her family and friends) of Reston, VA passed away on Friday, July 24th. She will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery alongside her husband Fred Wilser of 47 years who predeceased her in January of 2000. MB was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Services are pending Arlington National Cemetery arrangements. MB was born on March 5th, 1931, the daughter of Rose and Clarence (Putty) Rutter, in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from Plattsburgh State Teachers College and taught elementary school in Hawaii among other locales before retiring from teaching to become a full-time homemaker and active volunteer for nearly 30 years in Berkeley Heights, NJ. In addition to raising three children, Mary had an active social life including a bridge club and a gourmet dinner club, both of which were populated by great friends and had frequent events. She is survived by Ellen Wilser Jennings of Reston, VA., Mark Wilser of Newport Beach, CA., and Michael Wilser of Wall Township, NJ., as well as grandchildren Anne and Chris Jennings of Reston and Brian and Caroline Wilser of Wall Township.
