Obituary of Romualda Hobiena

On August 27, 2015, the universe called back one of its strongest. She came to this country in 1975 hoping to give her family more opportunity. She succeeded. She survived Japanese occupation during WWII, which included a stint of walking through the jungle for 2 weeks without food. She laid to rest her youngest son 14 years ago, and is survived by her eldest son, three daughters, and a plethora of grandkids and great-grandkids. It goes without saying she is loved. God gave us the privilege of having her for 92 years, 5 months, and 20 days - which is roughly 48,637,440 minutes. She will be missed for many more. Thank you for loving us, raising us, laughing with us, crying with us, and now for watching over us. Although we will mourn your absence, we are comforted to know you are no longer in any pain and reunited with your brothers and sisters. May you rest in peace.
