Obituary of Glynn Ford

Glynn R. Ford, 87, of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on July 24, 1928 in Stapleton, Georgia he was the son of the late Floyd "Bud" Ford and the late Alice Streetman Ford. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dean Ford; son Roland Ford of Reston VA; daughter Holly Ford (Alan Deger) of Lafayette CO; grandchildren, Erica Ford, Brandon Ford, Jordan Deger and Cristopher Ford; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Brenna Ford; sister Earldine Edwards; brothers Gene (Jo) Ford and Ed (Juanell) Ford along with many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Friday, September 25, 2015 at McLean Baptist Church. A celebration of Glynn's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at McLean Baptist Church. A reception at the church will follow.
