Obituary of Raymond Edward Hall

Raymond E. Hall, Jr, 67, of Ashburn, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 after an extended battle of End Stage Renal Disease. Born on April 19, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the son of the Amy (Armstrong) and Raymond Hall, Sr. Ray graduated from Saint Joseph's College (Rensselaer, IN) with Bachelor's degree in Geology and earned his Master's degree from Brown University in Marine Geology. He spent his Federal Government career with U.S. Geological Survey (Woods Hole, MA), U.S. Minerals Management Service (Vienna, VA), and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Washington, D.C.) until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Williams) Hall; daughter, Jessica Hall; son, Alan Hall; and granddaughter, Isabella Hall all of the home as well as a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, VA. Services and Interment will be private.
