Obituary of Janet Sue Virts

Janet Wortman Virts, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at her home in Waterford, VA. Born on November 2, 1944 in Fairfax, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. Wortman and the late Marie Ashby Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Judy W. Plumb and Pansy W. Goforth. Janet was a graduate of Herndon High School, and worked mainly in the secretarial and office management fields. She was a loving, caring woman. Her love of the outdoors included- family cookouts, the beach, and watching birds she would feed in her yard. She loved all animals, but dogs held a special place in her heart. Janet is survived by her husband Robert G. Virts, of Waterford, her daughter Regina M. Dalgleish-Roles, son in law Randy C. Roles, and grandson Travis B. Roles, all 3 of Purcellville,VA, 3 nieces- Dianna DiRico of Pembroke,VA, Devora Peterson of Silver Spring,MD, Janice Mills of FL, 3 nephews- Edward R. Goforth of Manassas,VA, John H. Goforth of Farmville,VA, Randy A. Plumb of Belleview,FL, and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Chestnut Grove Cemetary in Herndon, VA, with Reverend Alan Stanford officiating.
