Obituary of Suzanne Langdon Ekborg

Suzanne Ekborg, 73, of Reston, VA, passed away on the 8th of December at 4PM. She was born on the 9th of September, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Wesley Moore and Eleanor Louise Langdon. Suzanne had a BA in English from Duke University and was last employed as a report coordinator at Covance in Chantilly, VA. She retired in 2007 and spent time travelling with her husband to France and Sweden where they enjoyed visiting all types of museums. She loved cooking, good wine and always having fresh flowers in her home. She is survived by her husband of more than 34 years, Carl Göran Ekborg, her daughters Denise Eleanor Connett, 46 and Elise Marie Connett, 43 and her younger sister, Lizbeth Anne Videau. A memorial service will be held at Adams Green Funeral Home in Herndon, date and time to be announced. She will be interred at Maple Wood Cemetery in Durham, NC, date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
