Dear Laurie and family, For so very many years you have been there with a kind, loving and generous spirit. You never said "no" when a school or community organization like The Herndon Woman's Club needed a door or raffle prize. It was a pleasure to visit you and your pleasant staff and your generousity never waned in giving fresh bread slices with real butter and jam to whomever entered your "Great Harvest Bread Company" Store, even if they never bought anything. You manifested the love of "Jesus" in everyday living. You will be missed! We love you and Laurie and pray that we can be a comfort to your family. Love from Janet (the lady from your club with the white hair)

Laurie - Cathy and I were very sorry to hear about Jack's passing. We regret that we were unable to attend the services this past weekend. We wanted you to know that we're thinking of you and praying for both you and Jack. I can remember 1989 when Great Harvest belived in the future of the downtown and took the leap to buy the Station Street property. It seems like yesterday. I also remember the large goody box you and Jack sent me the day I started at Fairfax County in 2000. I can still see those blueberry muffins. Both of you were so integral to the Town of Herndon and epitomized the home town feelings and commitment that make the Town special... Again, our prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Rob
