Obituary of Ethel Ruth Wine

Ethel Ruth Wine Shoemaker, lovingly known as "Granny", died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 07, 2016 in Great Falls, VA at the age of 98. Ethel is survived by her son William Wine of Oregon, daughter Audrey Richardson of Great Falls, VA, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild, along with her sisters Kathleen Darr and Wilta Reedy. Ethel is preceded in death by husband Aubrey Wine, father Seymour Shoemaker, mother Lena Shoemaker Crider and brother Lawrence Wine. Services are scheduled for 12:00pm Monday January 11, 2016 at Adams-Greene Funeral Home 721 Elden St Herndon, VA. The interment will take place at 1:30pm, Andrew Chapel Cemetery located at SW corner of Trap Rd and Rt 7 Leesburg Pike Vienna, VA with a reception to follow at Dranesville Church of the Brethren. Pastor Doug Wantz will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ethel's life.
