Obituary of Brenda Joyce Turner

Brenda J. Turner, 66, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at her home. Born on January 11, 1950 in Lexington, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Richard Higgins and Mary Theresa Higgins. Brenda grew up on a farm which included many chores. One of her chores, before she went off to school was to milk 17 cows. She graduated from Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, VA. She spent 28 years working for William A. Hazel Inc as a project analyst. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing horse shoes. She is survived by her mother, Mary Theresa Higgins; brothers, Joe Higgins and Lee Marion; son, Kevin Turner; and grandson, Andrew Conover. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Adams Green Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Adams-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
