Obituary of Solon Michel

Solon Michel, 53, of Leesburg, VA, passed away on the 28th day of January 2016 at 3:45pm . Born on August 2nd, 1962 in Dame-Marie, Haiti, Mr. Michel was the son of the late Saintfort Michel and the late Merita Beauvoir. Solon Michel earned a Law degree from the Law School of Gonaives, Haiti. He worked 4 years in private practice as a Lawyer after Law school. He then moved to the United States with his wife, Olga Jean-Baptiste and had two children, Elishama and Pamela. He was very involved in a small group in Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn, VA and enjoyed reading and writing literature. In response to family financial needs, he became a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN). He worked in the area of geriatrics for 4 years before his untimely passage. There was never a day when Solon was not working and providing for his family. His love was immense. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family. Solon Michel is survived by his wife, Olga Jean-Baptiste and two children, Pamela Michel and Elishama Michel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on February 5, 2016 at Adams Green Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on February 6, 2016 at Christian Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Sterling Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family Olga Jean Baptiste and her two children, Elishama and Pamela Michel.
