Obituary of Vernon Leroy O'Meara

Vernon O'Meara July 27, 1937- February 11, 2016 Vernon Leroy O'Meara, 78 born in Great Falls Virginia passed away at his home in Falls Church, Virginia on February 11th. He was a passionate and devoted employee as a lumber yard supervisor at Dale Lumber Company for 56 years. He was an extremely dedicated member of the Vienna Moose Lodge for over 40 years. He is survived by his two brothers and two sisters Shirley, Donald, Irma and Johnny. His two daughters Debbie and Terri. Life-long friend and companion Marie Embry. Seven grand-children Trey, Vernon, Michelle, Jason, Taylor, Connor and Mason; and eight great-grand children. He will, be sorely missed by both family and friends. Services will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, Virginia. Viewing Tuesday, February 16th from 6-8 pm and funeral February 17th 11 am, reception to follow at Vienna Moose. He will be laid to rest beside his loving wife Ruby O'Meara of 46 years at Arnon Chapel cemetery in Great Falls.
