Obituary of Jeanne Cobb Penner

Jeanne Rebecca Cobb Penner,46, of Herndon, Va, unexpectedly passed away on February 11, 2016 at her home. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Jeanne was the daughter of Rear Admiral William W. Cobb,Jr. USN( ret. ) and Karen King Cobb. Survivors include her children Abigail Lynn and Hailey Marie Penner, her brother,William W. Cobb, III and her former husband, Randy L. Penner. Jeanne was raised in various Navy ports and completed high school in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her education included Associates and Bachelors Degrees and an MBA. Jeanne was an accomplished businesswoman, musician and most important mother to her children. She was beloved her family and all who knew her. Visitation and viewing will be held at the Adams-Green Funeral Home at 721 Elden St. Herndon, Virginia from 11:30 to 1:00, Saturday, February 20th with a short service to follow. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, Arlington, Virginia.
