Obituary of Margaret Letitia Roberts

Margaret L. Groff Roberts, age 88, a longtime Herndon resident and retiree from Fairfax County Assessments Dept., passed away on Feb. 16, 2016 in Sterling, VA. Widow of Elridge "Floppy" Roberts and mother of Ann Jenkins and Billy (Carol) Roberts. She is also survived by brothers Carrol (Val) Groff, Wayne (Nancy) Groff, and sister Ellen (Ronnie) Smith as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Family will receive guests on Mon. Feb 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA followed by a graveside service at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or to Capital Caring Hospice (www.capitalcaring.org).
