Obituary of Gregory Rex Marquis

Gregory Rex Marquis, 66, of Great Falls, VA, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1949, in Kenton, Ohio, to George and Wanda (Coats) Marquis. After serving in the Army, he married Patricia A. Epp on October 30, 1971. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his daughter, Susan E. Hill (Kyaphas), and two sons, Gregory S. Marquis (Marie) and James N. Marquis. He was an avid water garden/Koi pond enthusiast, meticulously tending to his pond every summer. He enjoyed adventuring, traveling with family to visit mountains, canyons, islands, and to see "two headed goats" and other tourist attractions, always with camera in hand. The thing he valued most in life was his family, particularly his grandchildren, Emelia Marquis, Olivia Hill, Connor Marquis, and twins Nicholas and Lucas Marquis.
