We are some of Phyllis's cousins in Maine and we grew up with her twin sister Frances and her brother Bruce. We would see Phyllis whenever she came back here, and enjoyed hearing about her sons and her grandchildren. We send our sympathy to Edward and Jeffrey and their families during this difficult time.

Although my real name is Hazel, my cousin Phyllis would only know me by my nickname, Teenie. We looked forward to her annual Christmas card, and we would get to see her every time she visited "home" back in Maine. Phyllis was so proud of her sons and their families and would talk about them with so much love. We are fortunate to spend time with both her twin sister Frances and her brother Bruce. We also feel very lucky they are not only cousins, but also our friends. May Edward, Jeffrey, and their families find comfort and solace in knowing so many others care - and share - their loss. May they also feel her warmth and her hugs when they recall some of their precious memories. Love to all during this difficult time ... Pete, Teenie, Jason, and Darren

There are a few times I can recall that I had some lengthy conversations with my grandma. She really loved to talk. What was most endearing about these coversations was how much love came through in them. She would talk for an hour or more about each of her grandkids, recounting their achievements, their challenges, their happy moments, and so much more. She always kept the conversations incredibly honest and was never afraid to add her opinion on the subject we were discussing. What I came to learn over the years in these memorable conversations is that she was truly proud of each of us. She cherished knowing the little things in our lives and it made her happy to know her grandkids were becoming such loving and responsible adults. She loved us all. We, ofcourse loved her too and she will be dearly missed.
