Obituary of Betty Jean DeVinney

Betty DeVinney, born June 27 June, 1939, died peacefully 9 March 2016, while at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, VA. She had struggled with COPD, heart disease, and diabetes for many years and resided in Fair Oaks Manor Care. She is preceded in death by both parents, Dorothy and Oriville Bostic of Centreville, VA and nine brothers (including her twin brother) and sisters. Her daughters, Gayle Bell of St. Augustine, Florida and Patricia Gillespie of Bowie, MD plus two sisters, Virginia Bisson, Ann Turk and two brothers, Robert and David Bostic remain, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held 25 March 2016 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA, at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
