"IT'S A BLESSING"
It's a Blessing that my wife and I adopted two daughters
It's a Blessing that those girls dreamed for a horse
It's a Blessing that we gave in and bought one
It's a Blessing that we were lead to an oasis in Herndon
It's a Blessing that Norma and Free were the Heart and Soul of that oasis
It's a Blessing that we became part of their barn family
It's a Blessing that I was elected to feed the horses on Sunday mornings
It's a Blessing that one very cold Sunday morning at the barn, Norma asked if I would come over and have a cup of coffee.
It's a Blessing that I attended every Sunday morning breakfast for more than 8 years
It's a Blessing that she always had her home remedies to cure all my ailments
It's a Blessing that Norma and I became very close friends, to the point I thought of her as my mother
It's a Blessing that most all who met her felt the same way
It's a Blessing that Norma would pull me aside and tell me to "watch Free" and keep him out of harm's way each time he and I went out together
It's a Blessing that I, and all of you, are truly Blessed to have known this most kind, loving and giving person God has ever placed on this earth
It's a Blessing to know that she is in heaven and that she will meet us with a prepared "small meal"(right, small) for us when we get there
