Obituary of Aubrey Eugene Rose

Aubrey E. Rose "Bo" age 84, of Great Falls, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Born April 5, 1932, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Darlene Boyd Rose, his children Pamela Umphreys, Kimberly (Joe) Hayes and Jeffrey Rose, his grandchildren, Andy, Shane, Sheena, Christal, Joey, Jordy, Kate and Kyle, and his great-grandchildren, Judy, Jason, Deacon and Mabel. He was born and raised on a Dairy Farm/Saw Mill in Great Falls, Virginia. He worked for the National Park Service for 30 years as well as having his own tree business. He very much enjoyed his work, splitting firewood, and spending time with family and friends. His love of life and hard work will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA, 20170 on Thursday April 21, 2016 from 10-11:00am. Funeral Services immediately following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. Family and friends are invited to gather afterword for food and fellowship at the Dranesville Church of the Brethren, Herndon, VA.
