Obituary of Grindella Ann Crate

Grindella Ann Barkett Crate At the age of 86, quietly passed away at her daughter's home in Reston, VA surrounded by her loving children on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Grindella lived in Leisure World of Lansdowne for the last eight years. She is predeceased by her husband of over 38 years Donald A. Crate, Sr. and her granddaughter, Michelle Grindella Crate. She was the loving mother of six children and their families, Donna C. Tschiffely (Ron Guberman) of Reston, VA, Donald A. (MaryLou) Crate, Jr. of Fairfax, VA; Elisabeth A. (Don) of Nokesville, VA; Jaime (Jean J. Crate of Marietta, GA; Mary L. Crate of Oakton, VA and Tom (Paula) Crate of Lake Arrowhead, CA. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. As the oldest of 12, she is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, over 35 nieces and nephews located around the country.
