Only recently did I find out about your passing...you yourself let me know during a dream. I really enjoyed traveling with you throughout South America. I witnessed your professionalism, your charismatic sense of humour and shared honest thoughts about many aspects of life. Although I could not hold back a tear or two a couple of nights ago when I helped you fly into that brilliant star, I am truly happy you my friend made it to where to came from and now belong forever and ever. The skies are open!!!

There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about you. You've taught me so much and given me someone to look up to forever. I can only hope to be making you proud, and live the life you would have wanted me to have, although its hard sometimes. I can't play some songs on guitar without crying at times, but in a strange way, you just made them that much more special to me. Its almost been 2 years but it sure doesn't feel that way. Things were hard without you but I told you I'd take care of everything. College is crazy, and one of the things I miss most is getting excited to share my life with you to get your advice, but I think you've taught me enough, and I owe you the world. I miss you a lot, more than you ever imagined, rest easy warrior.

Your last months with us were much too short, good friend. What you showed all of us, your family, friends and co-workers was a fight full of honor, character and dignity. Know that Susie and I will not forget those efforts and that your genuine warmth, sense of humor, friendship, love for your family, dedication to work and a talent for guitar that you humbly shared alongside of Gabi and Alejandro to make us all feel happy will be sorely missed, long talked about and never forgotten by any of us. "Saturday Night" will never be quite the same...Farewell and Godspeed and safe journey, soldier...we'll keep your fire burning here, Flip. You are loved.
