Obituary of Stanley John Jakubiak

Stanley John Jakubiak Jr., 72, of Chantilly, VA, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. Born on October, 15, 1943 in Plains, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Stanley Jakubiak Sr. and the late Evelyn Sagon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Jakubiak. Stanley obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering (now NJIT) on June 9, 1966. He retired from the Department of Defense in 2014 after 48 years of distinguished federal service. Stanley is survived by his sister Judy Schott, daughter Pamela Laing, son Steven Jakubiak, and grandson Jason Laing. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a memorial service at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 held at Adams Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA.
