My deepest condolences.
John and his late wife Ann were good friends to all, tireless civic and environmental leaders, and stalwart conservation and environmental education champions (TreeAction newsletter, Web of Life). I and many of us spent many an hour with Ann and John over the years at their home in Herndon and exploring local natural areas like Runnymede Park, Chapman Forest, Araby Bog, Winkler Tract, and numerous other places that were threatened and in need of preservation. They are sorely missed, but their spirit lives on!

I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I did not hear of his passing until today. I remember Mr. DeNoyer from town council meetings and the kindnesses he extended to my mother, Phyllis Duzan, regarding the widening of Third Street in Herndon. He was a gentleman and was true to the principles he held dear.
