Rosemary served as my sponsor in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Reston, Virginia, during the time period shortly after Easter 2003 until Easter 2004. I feel blessed to have entered the church with the benefit of Rosemary’s guidance and company at the weekly meetings over almost a one year period. Perhaps the greatest gift we can give each other is the gift of our time, and Rosemary did this unhesitatingly throughout my participation in the RCIA program. For years after that until my wife, Beverly, and I relocated to Georgia to be nearer to family, we also had the pleasure of Rosemary’s company during frequent dinners together and, after that, telephone conversations. We know she is at peace with her Lord and Savior. Our condolences to all her family and friends who will miss her presence. Jim Harrison.
