Jean Augusta Crosby, formerly known as Jean "Gussy" Ash, of Sterling, VA, died on May 5, 2009 due to an aneurysm at the young age of 69. She was born on October 11, 1939 in Willard Ohio to the late Edith I. Ash. She was a person that loved her family, friends and strangers! Yes, strangers too, as she had the gift to "gab". Those who knew her would tell you she had a HUGE heart, loving smile, a twinkle in her eyes, and laughter that filled a room. She will be with us always, watching from heaven as she looks down upon us, she can see how much she is greatly missed, especially by her six grandchildren! Jean was the beloved wife of 47 years of Marvin H. Crosby, loving and devoted mother of Marvin H. Crosby Jr. and his wife Lisa of Front Royal, VA Sue A. Crosby Runion of Sterling, VA, proud grandmother of Jeff, Ben, Matt, Danielle, Krystal and Sami, Sister Betty L. Blount of Reading, MI, Ernest A. Ash of Reading, MI and Sue I. Knapp of Angola, IN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9 th from 2:00-4:00pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St, Herndon VA 20170 ( www.adamsgreen.com ). Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 16 th at 11am at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1211 Connecticut Ave, NW, Suite 501, Washington, DC 20036 , The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. P.O. Box 631047, Baltimore, MD 21263-1047 or the charity of choice in memory of Jean. GIVE, LOVE, LIVE as life is sometimes to short! All our love my wife, our mom, our uma, our friend!
