RIP uncle Carl. I regret not being able to attend your memorial services. You had all of the qualifications of a great uncle, father, husband to aunt Rena, a patriot and ideal human being. I will miss you.

My dad was the best! He was a caring, devoted, selfless man. He worked long days to support his five children, but still had time to ask about our day as he ate re-heated dinner when he got home. He supported us completely; attending our sports and school functions. My parents would save to make sure we had a trip to the ocean (he loved going out on the rafts) everyother year. On years we didnt go to the beach, we took short trips to D.C, Gettysburg, Williamsburg, my dad loved history. We would take rides on Sundays, to look at the planes landing at Dulles Airport, and then get ice cream. My dad loved to golf, loved baseball, loved to travel and he was a die-hard Redskins fan. He loved being "Grandpop", and looked forward to our family gatherings; cookouts, kickball games, Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays. I will miss his smile, his laugh, his kindness. I am so thankful I had 57 years with you in my life. You will always have a special place in my heart.. RIP Dad, I love you. Debbie.

My dad was a wonderful man. He was always there for his 5 children and grandchildren starting from coaching baseball to teaching all 5 kids how to drive, having a blast at family picnics, playing kickball and volleyball to standing in the hot heat grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. T
Him and mom would load all 5 kids in station wagon and go on family vacations to Myrtle Beach 8 yrs in a row. He and mom took me to Scotland, and 18 yrs later took my daughter and neice with my sister back to Scotland. He had a caring and giving soul. He was an avid Redskin fan, and a huge sports fan, mainly football and baseball ( Nationals and Orioles). He used to go out of his way on busy tiresome days and come visit my kids, while at work or after work. He will forever be in my heart. RIP Dad Love Fiona
