Obituary of Ralph Paul Gelardo

Ralph Paul Gelardo (Rocky), age 66, passed away at his home in Sterling, VA on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. He was born May 13, 1950 in Washington, DC to Ralph Paul Gelardo, Sr. and Mary Lan Franco. Rocky retired in July 2009 with 31 years of service at Verizon as a Master Building Equipment Engineer. He graduated Cum Laude with an Associate in Applied Science Degree from Northern Virginia Community College, May 1990. He is survived by three children, Jason C. Gelardo of Sarasota, FL, Jennifer D. Pearson of Manassas, VA and Anthony M. Gelardo of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, Mikayla J. Pearson and Gillian R. Pearson. He’s also survived by brother, Gary A. Gelardo, of Portland, OR and sister Camille F. Gelardo of Takoma Park, MD. Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Adams-Green Funeral Home at 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170 with a short Remembrance Program beginning at 6:30PM.
