Obituary of Nancy Reiff Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Nancy Reiff, 75, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Reston, VA while on her way to yet another adventure. She was born in Allentown, PA on February 10, 1941 to Theodore Roosevelt and Elizabeth Bell Reiff. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she was a consummate student, ardent traveler and explorer, teacher, mentor, volunteer, and dogged genealogical researcher. Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Robert Clayton Fitzgerald. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine DeMasters Fitzgerald and Paul Christopher Houck, her grandchildren Rebecca Fitzgerald Houck and Christopher Fitzgerald Houck, her sister and brother-in-law Judith and Timothy Stauffer, her nephews and their families Thomas Edward Stauffer (wife, Cindy and daughter Charlotte) and Michael James Stauffer (wife, Diana and daughters Ella and Lily), and niece Suzanne Stauffer Ojeda. Celebrations of her life will be privately held in both Williamsburg and Smith Mountain Lake.
