Obituary of Elynor Ann Kerr

Elynor Kerr passed away on July 16, 2016 at Great Falls Assisted Living in Herndon, VA. She was born Elynor Ann Anderson in Gravity, Iowa on July 4, 1934 and grew up in the New Market and Clarinda areas in Iowa. During her life, Elynor lived in Meriden, CT; Rockville, MD; Springfield, IL; and Lansdowne, VA. She made many dear friends in each location. Elynor was blessed with a close family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Gerald Wayne Kerr. Elynor is survived by son David Kerr (Julia), daughter Janet Monaghan (Mark), son Roger Kerr (Kelly), grandchildren Alex Kerr, Lily Kerr, Caroline Kerr, Isabel Kerr, Jonathan Kerr, Cameron Kerr, Quinn Monaghan, sister Lois Garrett and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to either Capital Caring Hospice in Virginia or to the Nantz National Alzheimer Center.
