I knew Ron from high school, and thought of him often throughout the years. He was always caring and kind to me when others weren't. He had a quiet grace about him that was apparent even at that age.

Ron and I were friends for over 40 years. He was blessed with a great sense of humor, big heart, love of God and his wife, Joanne. I met Ron just as I was starting at Epiphany is 2011. He was a quiet person in some ways, but also very warm. He had this way of doing his work (sound and video at the church) and at the same time smiling or in some other way interacting with me and people around him that I really appreciated.
Ron also served on vestry (our leadership board at church) through some challenging times. He helped us both see opportunities and also face facts when we needed to. Ron went to the wars to preserve and grow his church, and that was a gift.
Finally, Ron loved his wife and his family. I always struggled when talking with Ron to get him to talk about Ron. He cared so deeply for other people.
I miss Ron deeply,

I will always remember the first time I met Ron and how welcoming he was to me. We had wonderful conversations over the years. He would always call or message if he hadn't seen me at church to make sure I was ok.
Ron was such a wonderful model of a loving, caring, and giving husband. He was an encourager who drew his strength from the Lord and was never ashamed to admit that. He always found time for others and was generous with his time and any way he could find to help.
We will miss you Ron and know that you now rest peacefully in our Father's arms. We will always remember that smile and your Christ-like love for others.
