Obituary of Julian N. Dashiell

Julian N. Dashiell, age 88, died on December 11, 2008 at his home in Great Falls, VA. He was born on March 15, 1920 in Norfolk, VA to the late Harry W. and Nannie Cullen Dashiell. Julian was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He also worked all over the world as a general manager for Caltex Corporation (Chevron) for 32 years before retiring in 1985. Julian was the beloved husband of Simone Dashiell, loving and devoted father of Alexander Dashiell of Washington, DC and Stephanie Morelli of Stanford, CT, proud grandfather of Jade and Stella. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14 th from 6-7pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 15 th at 11am at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 1020 Springvale Road, Great Falls, VA. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
