Obituary of Stephen Michael Moore
STEPHEN MICHAEL MOORE
Passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016, at his home in Sterling, Va. Steve spent 60 of his 62 years in Northern Virginia. He grew up in Alexandria, where he graduated from T.C. Williams High School in 1972. He received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in 1976. His vocation was sales. His avocations included fishing in Virginia’s lakes and North Carolina’s Outer Banks, exploring the region’s Civil War battlefields and his annual trip to Colonial Williamsburg for Grand Illumination. Steve is survived by his partner, Lisa Hoffman of Sterling, her children Robert, Christopher and Charlotte Hoffman and granddaughter Jocelyn (Little Lady) Urbina, his brother Douglas, sister Susan Moore Stuntz, sister-in-law Priscilla Moore, and nephews Robert and James Moore. His parents, Donald E. and Jean Moore, and brother Jeffrey preceded him in death. Per his request, there will be no services.
