I am so sorry to hear of Alice's passing. She was a dear friend of my parents, Sue and Bill Vitale, and I count myself lucky to have known her. Alice was the very definition of a lovely, gracious southern woman. She made everyone feel at ease the moment she walked into a room, and had a charm about her that made you smile even if you were feeling gloomy. Smart and intrepid, she could handle any situation or difficulty, and had so many fun stories from her interesting personal life and career. I will miss her, and feel extremely blessed to have had her friendship, both for myself and my parents. My condolences to her family and all who had the good fortune to be in her life.
