It’s hard to believe that you have been gone for 4 years now. I think of you very often and miss our texts and emails about our day. I’ll never forget the rich friendship that you provided, it’s made me a better person. Your kindness was and still Is unmatchable in today’s world. I can’t believe that I lost such an amazing friend. Hopefully we will see each other again someday.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We were carpoolers when we lived on Albright Drive in Va Beach. (1983 until his retirement). He was truly a good friend and helped me in my first experience with government employment at Naval Sea Combat Systems. My sincere sympathy to his children and grandchild.

I also would like to extend my condolences to a sweet woman named Grace, she came many times weekly to care for Michael and he told me how much he enjoyed her visits and her kind and uplisting conversations. He always looked forward to seeing her and he loved her haircuts. He spoke to me often about her and her young daughter and how hardworking and responsible she was.
Grace, thank you so much for your loving and caring kindness in Michaels life, you're a wonderful person. Agape love.

James Michael,
Michael enjoyed getting dressed for lunch and eating in the dining room at the apartment complex with his friends in the dining room. He'd often send me photos of the view outside and the people around him.

James Michael,
Michael was a fit man and loved spending time in the excersize room with his therapist strengthening his body whenever possible.
