Obituary of Elvira Mustyan Stewart

Elvira Theresa Stewart, 86, of Sterling, Virginia, passed away on January 1st, 2017 in Leesburg, Virginia. Elvira was born in Lorain, Ohio to John Mustyan and Marie Teresa Tudor Mustyan on 2/06/1930. She worked at an olive packing plant briefly, before being released for being under age. She later came to Washington, D.C., where she met and married Edwin Stewart in 1948. She worked as a bookkeeper employed by 1st National Bank in Arlington, Va. and U.S. Steel in Sterling, Va. Elvira is survived by her grandsons, Chris Stewart and Eric Stewart, her granddaughter Lora Prall, granddaughter-in-law Janelle Stewart, grandson-in-Law Brian Prall, daughter-in-Law Linda Stewart, great-grandchildren Kelley Stewart, Nathan Stewart, Abigail Stewart, Jack Prall, and Cole Prall, and son Wayne Stewart, nieces Linda Eaton, Pat Zsebik, Gloria Nicholson and Pat Condra . (List all survivors: spouse children, siblings, parents, grandchildren, nieces and nephews). She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Edwin Stewart, her parents and sister Anna Mustyan, brother Teddy Mustyan and Anthony Mustyan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10th from 9:30 -10:30am at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Herndon.
