How devastated I am to learn in February 2020 of Pramila's passing in 2017. We met in Brighton, England during the summer of 2016 when we were both attending an international conference there. I liked her immediately and thought she was such a warm and lovely person. We had dinner together at an Indian restaurant I discovered by chance, and she was so happy to get a decent meal in Brighton for a change. We had wonderful conversations at the conference, and talked about working on a research study together. I was hoping to reconnect with her and searched for her online, only to discover that she passed away the year after we met. I grieve the lost opportunities to connect with you, dear friend.

Pramila - I think of you often since you got me involved in the South Asian Journal of Business Studies. You were on the Editorial Review Board and in my mind you and the journal are intertwined forever. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I am a total stranger to Pramila. In fact, I came across this page when I was searching for her contact details in connection with a HR book project. Inspired by her lovely book, Taking Sides: Clashing Views in Human Resource Management, I wanted to invite her to write something for my book and sadly I came to know that she is no more. I wish to convey my deepest condolences to her family members and assure them that through her work and life, her spirit will live forever.

I am praying for Pramila's family and friends to be comforted at this time. I attended graduate school with Pramila at Greorge Washington University when she was working on her PhD. She was always such a dedicated student and giving colleague. All that she interacted with were blessed by her kindness and loving spirit. She will be missed. But we should thank GOD that we had the opportunity that she was shared with us in our lives.

Pramila, we will miss you so much - a person who always spreads joy and knows the secret of balancing life - career, family, friends, fun times, running her home - everything done with panache and passionate love.
A shining star that inspires and is always loved and held in high regard, by everyone who knows her.

As the person who hired Pramila at Marymount University, I benefited from working with her on a regular basis. She was dedicated, warm, engaging, and giving. At her passing, contacts that she has made over the years around the world--through her publications, international presentations, and constant networking--have been calling me and expressing their sadness. Pramila touched many people and left a part of her spirit with people in many nations.

I was a student at Marymount and was lucky enough to take one of her classes in HR management. She always carefully prepared for each class and was very encouraging and kind to me as a "older" student. My deepest sympathy to her family.
