Obituary of Christine Anastasia Bellamy

Christine Anastasia Bellamy, 66, of Sterling, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Adler Hospice Center in Aldie, Virginia. She was born October 8, 1950 in Dundalk, Maryland to George and Mary Naylor. While in high school, she met the love of her life and married him in 1969. As her husband served in the U.S. Air Force, she would work various jobs to support her family. She could do it all. From waitress to retail store manager to bank teller, she loved to work and take on new challenges. She showed her family the true meaning of a good work ethic. She was active in her church working with the youth group and teaching in the CCD program. She never wavered in her faith no matter the challenges that faced her and her family. She had a love of music that could be heard while out for a drive, cleaning the house or rocking her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George and Mary Naylor, natives of Dundalk; brother Raymond Naylor; and her husband of 46 years, Thomas Bellamy of Sterling. She is survived by her three children; son Shawn and wife Christine of Sterling; daughter, Jennifer Bellamy of Centreville; and son Brian and wife Kathleen of Sterling; 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Karilyn, Charlotte and Maxwell and two great grandchildren, Stella and Jackson; two sisters, Jayne Munoz and Laurie (Robert) Rech; her faithful companion Austin; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Hwy, Sterling, VA on Thursday March 9th at 10:00 am.
