To all the family, we loved when Cindy would come to visit Phillip at work. She always had a pretty smile and a gleam in her eye. We could always count on her laughter, too! We enjoyed the time at the lake. God must have needed another angel and she will always be in our hearts.

I'm so sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. It was great to re-connect with her on Facebook as we knew each other in Elementary School, and lived just a couple of blocks away from each other in Herndon, VA. I remember spending a great summer together as friends where we went to the local pool together and talked about Elvis Presley (one of her favorites at the time in 67). I remember her dad taking us to a Washington Senators game and to the Timonium, MD fairgrounds. I remember her mom making great pasta and being invited to dinner on Sundays. I'm sorry that I didn't stay in touch with Cindy over the years, but I did see her at the HHS 30th anniversary in 2004, and I really appreciated being able to connect with her on Facebook and to see what a beautiful and dynamic lady she was. I send my condolences to the Delisi family and know that the world will be different without Cindy's vibrant presence. Taryn Ellison Bailey

My dearest Cindy is now at peace - no more fear, no more exhaustion. I truly believe she is with her Dad & her Brother now & that I will see her again. She is no longer suffering....it's those of us who are left behind that are now in pain. I know that someday I'll be able to look at a picture of her & smile - without crying - and eventually my MANY happy, fond memories of Cindy will replace my current sorrow but those days are a little ways off in the distance. I will not be there among all those who love & miss Cindy because I leave early Sunday morning for a trip - one Cindy should have been taking with me. It is my belief that she would have wanted me to go, even though I will miss her farewell on Sunday & Monday. Make no mistake.....my heart & tears will be there with all of you who also knew & loved Cindy. I will be thinking about her on Sunday, Monday & every day for the rest of my life. She was TRULY unique & she will always hold a special place in my heart............

Cindy IS a great person. I worked with her over 25 years ago, but I never forgot how much fun she was and how she always made me laugh. I know that although she will be missed, wherever she is now she is happy and at peace. And probably making those around her laugh too.

Cindy was my hair stylist for many years. Once every 4 weeks I met with her at the shop and it was definitly more than a hair cut. It was a visit with a friend. We always shared stories of our family adventures. Good times and bad. I was following her progress in fighting the cancer and was so looking forward to her return. She was a wonderful caring person and I will truly miss our monthly visits.

My heart goes out to my extended family, Aunt Jean, Joanne, Philip, Paul, Chris and Jennifer. I was so sorry to get the news of Cindy's passing. And am thankful I got the chance to see her while she was recovering from her surgery. She was so very strong and beautiful. She will be missed by all of the fortunate people who shared her life. Cindy has been a loving presence within the Bussey family for so many years; our daughter, a sister and best friend to Tara and Gabrielle, a beloved auntie to Alissa, Nicole and William and a loving friend to David and Grace. Cindy was always a part of our family celebrations; she always made holidays special for us with her laughter and joyfulness. Our annual vacation at Hilton Head will never be the same without Cindy; she will be missed, but she will continue to be there in our hearts and thoughts. Cindy, we loved you dearly over the years and always will. Our family take great comfort in knowing your legacy will continue on with Krystle; the Bussey/Delisi connection lives on with Krystle & Alissa. What a wonderful gift! Much love, Grammy and Papa.

I followed Cindy to three or four different salons through the years because she was a good stylist but more importantly she became a friend. I will dearly miss our monthly visits as I have the last few months and hope she is finally at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. We will all miss her smile.

I know that your bubbly smile and energy will light up the heavens, as it did when I would saw you at the salon. Your presents will be greatly missed. We shared our daughters discovery of college life in Richmond. We know that you are a proud mother. May you rest in peace.
