I will always miss Dot's smiling face, and our conversations, whenever I attended our county ARB meetings. Both Liza's and my thoughts are with Gil and family. RIP Dot, you truly were one of a kind.

My dear sister and friend, sometimes known to one another as Twinnie. There were several times over the years that our lives took similar turns. We were able to help one another through the difficult times and enjoy many good times. We shared many special and beautiful memories at the beach. She truly would help anyone in any way she could. She was never one to take credit for things and was more likely to say "from all of us". She was a devoted mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend and more. She was loved by all of us and will be missed terribly. Although there were physical miles between us the love for one another was close and strong. There is comfort in knowing we will see you again one day our loving Dottica.

In loving memory of my sister Dot Weiss. My sister was not only my sister, she was my best friend. If anyone needed anything, she was only a phone call away and be there to help any way she could. She was a very loving and caring person. She always wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of and would say not to worry about her, she was ok. She loved all animals and would have a big farm to take care of them if she could. She made a home for many rescue dogs. One of her greatest joys was to spend time with them and love on them. She would take time every day to plan what she and Mom would do. She was a loving caring daughter. She played a very active role in her community and at one time had a ministry visiting nursing homes with her white Purinesse. Dot had many long lasting friendships which was very important to her. I will always remember her beautiful smile and laughter, not only was she beautiful on the outside but on the inside, too. She left us too soon but she was ready to meet the Lord. She is with our loved ones and waiting for the day when we will all be together again. She loved children and was especially close to our grandchildren and was "Nanny Dot" to them. A song came to me throughout all these days and days to come - many things about tomorrow I don't understand, but I know who holds my hand. I love you so much, Sister. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Aunt Doris was an amazing lady, and we are so blessed to have her in our lives and the lives of our children. The kids (and us!) cherish the memories of when she took Tim to the beach with she and Kevin, the visit your OBX condo when to do laundry when I was pregnant, the summer boat rides, playing in the basement and Easter 2017 .. a PERFECT day! She lives forever in our memories and hearts! We love you!

Dot was a special friend. We always called each other 'big sister and little sister. Often, when I would see her I would often call her sunshine, a name that fit her to a 'T' as she was always a ray of sunshine. I already miss her terribly and can not begin to imagine a world without her....Dot was truely beautiful, on the inside and out and now the Lord has one more angel...

Dot was a friend and co-worker for many years. We could always rely on her calm and professional help from the radio room when things got hectic. She always had a smile and made you feel needed to keep the buses rolling and safely transport students to and from school. She was an important part of Fairfax County's Transportation Team.
Dot, you are now one of Gods new angels.

Doris was a very caring and loving person, so much fun to be with. She cared for others first. She always wanted to look her best for her loving husband Gil. She was a "real looker". They enjoyed each other and still had that new love relationship.
The past several years she dedicated herself to our Mother Ginny Nicholson. Taking mom to doctors appointments,
Bowling, eating or what ever fun things mom wanted to do.
Other than family her next greatest loves were her dog/s.
All kids were drawn to her because of her kindness and
Love.
I will miss her smile, sweet voice and hearing her say" I
Love you so much brother".
My knowledge that indeed I will see her again because My
Redeemer Liveth.
Brother
